April 2004: Chris, a renown artist, unwittingly begins a long quest which is to transform his life. Throughout endless coincidences, he discovers ancient documents mysteriously placed for him to find and which he would have to manage to decode. Is his encounter with Sylvie also no more than an additional coincidence, or does it have a meaning which Chris will have to discover in order to complete his quest? 1621: Pavel takes to the roads of Europe, on the most challenging of journeys, in search of the Brothers of the Rose-Cross, a fraternity motivated by an ideal of peace and whose most important members flee religious persecution. Will Pavel be reunited with Heleen, who was cruelly taken and whose love gives him the strength to continue his perilous journey? Although four centuries separate them, a subtle link seems to bind these two men. What, therefore, is this link? What will the conclusion of Pavel’s journey hold? Will Chris penetrate the mysteries that surround him, despite the trials and pitfalls?
