Description

This is an exceptional CD performed by an inspired artist, Lévon Minassian, who is at one with his traditional Armenian flute, the duduk.

Simultaneously mystical, nostalgic and serene, his music is that of the wind, the steppes, the nomadic immensities, and the deep starry sky.  It is a divine breath that seems to come from the origins of humanity itself.

In this album he revisits the traditional Armenian repertoire, bringing together soloists and the Bulgarian symphonic orchestra.

Quite simply enchanting.
