For Karlfried Graf Dürckheim “but for his body man is a spiritual being”. His raison d’être is to render the Divine visible in the world and to manifest it through the splendour of his inner life, through the radiance of “being there”. Man must therefore master his ego and allow his essential being to express itself, particularly in everyday life. In fact, it is everyday life which teaches us, at every moment and through every action, to seek out the right attitude. “In every action, there is what one does and there is the way of doing it. Doing good, mastering good deeds... this is our task along our path”. In this work, Dürckheim reminds us of the importance of breathing, meditation, letting go and the present moment. He then describes the stages which he names “the wheel of metamorphosis”, that lead to accomplishment.
