Evelyn Underhill is able to immerse us within the world which the mystic reaches. The book contains an extensive bibliography. Evelyn Underhill, enjoys wide renown in English-speaking countries, but unfortunately the same cannot be said of France. This injustice has, in part, been redressed thanks to the publication of this major work.
