La Bible - Traduction Œcuménique - Relié

The Ecumenical Translation of the Bible (TOB), published in 1975, marked a turning point in the long history of the translation of the Bible. For the first time ever, Catholic, Protestant and Orthodox biblical scholars came together to produce a modern translation, the faithful and sincere nature of which continue to be widely recognised. Published in 1975, the Bible (TOB) underwent a significant revision process in 1988 so that a more precise and harmonious text would be created. In its 2004 updated version, the TOB now emphasises the recent results of the biblical research concerning the creation of the books of the Pentateuch. Therefore, the TOB Bible remains a scientific reference point.
