Jésus dans la tradition soufie

Sufism, the mystic way of Islam, recognised an authentic spiritual guide in Jesus, the Word of God. For this reason, such eminent Sufi masters as Rumi or Ibn Arabi recognised Jesus as the “Seal of holiness”, just as Mohammed is the “Seal of prophets”. This work, written by a Sufism specialist and brotherhood adept, paints a portrait of Jesus by drawing on the Gospels, the Quran and mystic texts. Analysing his life and words, the author sheds light on the figure of a Messiah who practised initiatory teachings to impel us to overcome the illusions of the ego and rediscover our inner dimension. This work represents an invitation beyond denominational barriers and to open ourselves up to a religion of the heart and dialogue.
