Ethique de la considération

Corine Pelluchon insists on the need to reconcile our well being with that of others and of the world.  An affective and moral realisation within each of us can then lead to the creation of a more beautiful, less violent world, thanks to acts that will allow mistreatment of animals to diminish, climate warming to decrease, riches to be better shared, and acknowledge the true value of beings.

This book proposes a new way of thinking and living, in order to build a world that is more human, more just and more ecological.  Ethics of consideration involves seeing humanity and vulnerability in another person and deciding to take him/her into account in order to lead a better life.  Let us learn to practice compassion for others and leave behind the idea of absolute power and domination over the weakest. We will then discover that our fulfilment cannot be detached from that of other living things, whether they be humans or animals.
