What is the soul? Aristotle cannot answer, except to say that there is no doubt that it exists: in that it is possible to feel, imagine and think, then there must be “something” that makes this possible.
Aristotle presents, and critically analyses, the doctrines of Presocratics and Plato. The soul, he says, is united with the body and thus makes the living being.
