Les Assemblées initiatiques du Zohar

The four treatises contained in this work are among the most mysterious books of the Zohar. They are presented as the final communication of Rabbi Shiméon to his disciples. Book of Modesty: this hermetic and enigmatic book is based on the first six chapters of the book of Genesis. It covers the harmony of opposites and the way the masculine and feminine relate, the union of which sustains the life of our world. The Assembly of the Tabernacle: this Assembly differentiates itself from others through the information regarding the mysticism of prayer. The Great Sacred Assembly: this Assembly is based on the Book of Modesty. Rabbi Shiméon brings together his disciples to reveal to them what had until now remained hidden. The Small Sacred Assembly: This is the master’s final initiation, bringing twelve years of study and teaching to a close. The text closes with the story of his death and funeral.
