The living world, which originated over 3 billion years ago, is nonetheless a remarkable success - and one of the major keys to this success is the cooperation between species: alliances to improve reproductive chances, make new lifestyles possible, and facilitate colonization of new spaces. In order to put an end to the current ecological crisis, a new strategy founded on cooperation with other species is vital.
