Le prophète

A wise and pure man, Almustapha, bids farewell to the people of Orphalèse. Before setting sail, he offers them words of wisdom, life lessons in the style of a testament. His language is pure, simplified, full of allegory. The words of this wise man concern freedom, self-knowledge, marriage, joy and sadness, work, charity, pain, reason and passion... and are a source of inspiration, reflection and meditation.
