Sufism is a way, a path which leads from the being to the world and from the world to the being. It is an inner journey, a sacred way of self-knowledge, comprising contemplation and meditation. Anthropologist and ethnologist, Faouzi Skali has produced a number of prominent works on Sufism. His work The Sufi Way is widely considered as essential for an understanding of the essence of Sufism.
