Marie-Louise von Franz interprets a number of dreams and answers questions on the subject. She shows that the images of dreams offer a highly individual reflection of the dreamer’s personality and destiny, all the while connecting them to a symbolic universe of inexhaustible richness, that of the collective unconscious. Through dreams, the unconscious interacts with the conscious, initiating a dialogue between the two and significantly expanding the potential perception of reality.  If we listen to our dreams, concrete solutions are provided for problems the dreamer felt were unsolvable. Dreams are the bearers of a higher intelligence, a form of wisdom and ingenuity which guide us. They show us when we are wrong, when we are ill-prepared, they warn us of danger, they preside over the events to come, they suggest what the profound meaning of life is and they provide us with clarity and enlightenment.
